IF YOU WILL STAND FOR JESUS, HE WILL STAND WITH YOU- Today at the Friday morning Service of IYC 2024, Associate Pastor Shaun Murphy reads Daniel 3:16-18 and 23 & 24 teaching on how biblical Christianity must be our everything. In Babylonian captivity, and threatened with death, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow to evil King Nebuchadnezzar. Even in the fire, they do not die, and four men are seen walking unscathed in the fire. Jesus will protect us in the fire. Brother Shaun explains the heart of Babylon at that time. The motives of the people, as they build the Tower of Babble, are an effort to build a way up to the heavens to meet with God. Man cannot build their own way to God, and God reacted by scattering the people. God bridged the gap between man and God, through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. We have to let God plan our lives and trust in His plan. Kings come and go, but the Kingdom of God is forever. We are living in a Babylon today, as ungodliness is all around us. It is time for believers to say, no more to the ways of the world; I stand for Jesus. We must not conform to the things of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds to the ways of God, and that alone. When we stand fast in the faith, the Lord will stand with us.
