Pasanday is best made using beef. It is cooked in many different ways. Today, I've shared the Hyderabadi recipe. I'll share Bihari, Awadhi, and the recipe of Dilli waalas, too, from time to time. It is usually eaten with plain naan, roghni naan or chapati.

Hyderabadi Pasanday Recipe
Ingredients:
Beef paarchay 750 g
To marinade, you will need
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Chillie Powder 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
Dhania Powder 1/2 tsp
Zeera Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Yoghurt 2/3 Cup
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
Marinade overnight with these ingredients, but if you don't have the time, you add 1/2 tbsp papaya paste and marinade it for at least half an hour.
While the beef marinades prepare the gravy.

For Gravy:
Almonds 12 - 14
Dessicated coconut 3/4 cup
Poppy Seeds 2 tbsp
Chirongi or Chiroli 1 tbsp
Medium-sized onion sliced
Oil 1 tbsp to fry sliced onion
Fried onion 1/2 cup.
You will need a cup of oil to cook the beef in.
