Tseminyu, July17: Lok Sabha #MP and Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president S. #Supongmeren Jamir during a meeting with #Rengma HOHO announced the party’s decision to establish development monitoring committees at all levels of the party organization in the state.
Supongmeren visited #Tseminyu town on July 17 and had a meeting with  Rengma Hoho leaders.

During the interaction, he said that committees would act as points of check and balances, ensuring accountability and optimum utilization of Central funds meant for development of the state.

He extended his profound gratitude to the gathering for electing him to the 18th Lok Sabha, conceding that his victory would not have been possible without the almighty’s divine intervention.
He assured the gathering of leaving no stone unturned to ensure the preservation and protection of Naga people’s identity and way of life.
Highlighting the demerits of an opposition-less government, Supongmeren lamented the legislators’ aversion to sitting on the opposition bench, terming it a tragedy for the common people of Nagaland and tantamount to the murder of representational democracy in the land.
