5th Consecutive Day Rise For Markets, Will Bulls Continue Riding Or Bear Slashes? | Closing Trades

The S&P BSE Sensex, which comprises 30 shares, closed at 91,698.11, up 611.90 points or 0.75%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also ended the day positively at 25,010.60, recording a gain of 187.45 points or 0.76%.

HCL Tech emerged as the top performer in the S&P BSE Sensex index, with a growth of 4.08%. Following closely behind were NTPC, rising by 3.29%, Bajaj Finserv, increasing by 2.73%, Tech Mahindra, going up by 2.42%, JSW Steel, rising by 2.38%, and Titan, gaining 1.71%.

On the other hand, Adani Ports experienced the highest decline, with a negative change of 0.54%. This was followed by Maruti Suzuki India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nestle India, Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, and UltraTech Cement, all with a dip of less than 0.5%.

The broader indices had mixed results, with Nifty Smallcap 100 rising by 0.28%, Nifty Midcap ending higher by 0.64%, and Nifty Microcap 250 settling in the red with a decline of 0.25%.
