So yesterday I got my butt kicked a little. It was one of my days in Los Angeles (I live in San Diego) and I had 3 back to back to back Music Theory classes at one of the colleges I work at.

I love teaching but adding the additional 2 hours each way for the drive can really limit my time.

So much so that I didn't even spend out my daily email to you. I have to apologize for this because talking to you is my of the highlights of my day.

My goal like Uke Like The Pros is to help you set and achieve your ukulele goals.

We spend a lot of time working on advanced techniques and ideas like the 5 positions of the Major Scales or challenging strum patterns that you see in songs like "Despacito."

I was thinking that besides taking people that already play ukulele to new levels of performance awesomeness, I also want to help beginners get started on their path to mastering the ukulele.

So, in today's video I'm going to go over, "How To Hold Chords On The Ukulele."

This is essentially STEP #1 as a ukulele player since many of us have goals of jamming our favorite songs with our friends.

Guess what? You can't play a song until you know how to properly hold chords.

This video will not only show you "How To Hold Chords On The Ukulele" but it will also show you the very first chords you should learn as a beginning ukulele player.
