Julie Frink is an avocado enthusiast, specialist, and all around legendary master of avocados. She was the curator of the avocado collection at the University of California field station at UC Irvine, where she worked closely with over 200 varieties of avocados! She has discovered and preserved dozens and dozens of rare avocado varieties. During her time at the University, she helped create a database of information on over 1000 varieties of avocado! Her knowledge is deep, and she has given countless speeches and presentations about avocados to various organizations around the country. She has been growing avocado trees in Southern California for decades, and she has gained valuable knowledge along the way.
