Resep Roti Canai (6 pcs)

Bahan:
280 gr tepung terigu protein tinggi
1 sdt baking powder
½ sdt garam
½ sdm gula
2 sdm margarin
120 ml susu
1 butir telur
100 ml minyak
Kental manis
Mentega

Langkah:
1. Campurkan terigu, baking powder, garam, dan gula lalu aduk rata
2. Campurkan telur dan susu, tuang perlahan ke dalam adonan tepung sambil terus diaduk lalu uleni hingga membentuk adonan
3. Masukkan margarin lalu uleni hingga permukaannya mulus
4. Istirahatkan 15-30 menit ditempat tertutup
5. Bagi adonan 6 bagian sama rata
6. Bulatkan, rendam didalam minyak minimal 4 jam di suhu ruang
7. Pipihkan adonan menggunakan rolling pin, olesi permukaan adonan dengan minyak / margarin
8. Taburi dengan terigu di kedua sisi kemudian lipat seperti membentuk origami kipas
9. Gulung adonan membentuk lingkaran lalu letakkan bagian ujungnya di bawah, kemudian istirahatkan lagi 15-30 menit
10. Pipihkan adonan secara perlahan menggunakan tangan lalu pipihkan dengan menggunakan rolling pin
11. Panggang di atas pan anti lengket dengan api sedang-kecil hingga kecokelatan
12. Letakkan roti canai di atas kain bersih, tekan-tekan perlahan
13. Sajikan roti canai dengan mentega dan kental manis sebagai topping

Roti Canai Recipe (yield: 6 pcs)

Ingredients:
280 g bread flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp sugar
2 tbsp margarine
120 ml milk
1 pc egg
100 ml oil
Condensed milk
Butter

Steps:
1. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
2. Mix the egg and milk. Pour slowly into the flour mix while stirring, then knead until the dough comes together.
3. Add the margarine in. Knead until the surface is smooth.
4. Rest for 15-30 minutes, covered.
5. Divide the dough into 6 even pieces.
6. Shape the dough into a ball and soak in oil for at least 4 hours at room temperature.
7. Flatten the dough with a rolling pin. Rub the surface with oil / margarine.
8. Dust both sides with flour, then fold as if you’re making a fan origami.
9. Roll the dough into a circle and tuck the tip underneath. Rest again for 15-30 minutes.
10. Flatten the dough slowly with hands, then flatten with a rolling pin.
11. Fry the dough using a nonstick pan on medium-low heat until browned.
12. Place the Roti Canai on a clean tea towel and press it gently.
13. Serve the Roti Canai with butter and condensed milk as toppings.
