Scrap to Stockbridge 1992

Here is an unfrequented railway location. This is Deepcar on the Woodhead line on the outskirts of Sheffield. The steel works of Stockbridge have a transfer sidings on a short spur.
It used to receive a train of scrap steel once a week in the early 90s.
Delivering scrap steel to the works from Tinsley was one of the last strong holds for the dwindling fleet of class 20s. 3 were based at Frodingham and worked these trains. 20118 20137 and 20165.
On the day i arrived to film this class 20 strong hold 37508 arrived. On any other day it would be a result but i was gutted.
The following week i tried again and in horrendous conditions i filmed 20165 and 20118.
Despite the conditions i bagged some reasonable shots.
