Solo hiking 120km on Alta Via 1 Dolomites, Italy | Camping

The Alta Via 1 is a 120km long hiking trail that runs through the Italian Dolomites. I completed the solo hiking 7 days on the mid-June 2022, and it was one of the best week of my life. The Dolomites offer one of the most impressive and memorable landscape in the world with the rugged mountains, lakes, meadows and wild flower.

If you are wanting to do this trail yourself then go for it! I advise you to book the Rifugio for accommodation on advance. Theoretically, it's not allowed to wild-camp however I have done 3 nights wild camping after I was unable to book the Rifugio. I met other wild camper as well so if you want to do wild camp then BE SENSIBLE, DO RESPECT and LEAVE-NO-TRACE.
