Tonfa is the most practical and realistic karate traditional weapon by far.

And it is the most widely spread weapon among them.

It is employed as an official weapon by police force and law enforcements in a lot of countries.

Yet, it is funny enough that this amazing weapon is kind of chucked out form the window in its homeland, karate dojos.

If you have decent basic in karate, you have great potential to be able to use it better than anyone else.

I want to review its worth and revive its presence among karate community.

Here is the footage of my tonfa training with my friend, Willem.

In the training, we simulate the confrontational situation as realistic as possible.
