How to check and change a carburetor diaphragm of any motorcycle (pulsar 150)

In this video you will learn how to check and change the diaphragm of carburetor on any motorcycle. If you want you can replace the diaphragm while the carburetor is on the motorcycle , but i recommend to completely remove the carburetor and then replace the diaphragm.
To access the diaphragm you need to open the cover by unscrewing it then remove the spring. Hold the diaphragm from the side and lift it up , the slide assembly will come out . Now inspect the diaphragm rubber for any punches and stretch it to see if its hard or not and also for any kind of deformation as it causes leakage.
If you found any of the above problem in the diaphragm rubber then consider it to replace. Before replacing you need to remove the old one and for that first take out the plastic ring lock then hold the diaphragm and pull it out from its groves. Brought a new diaphragm according to your motorcycle .
Before installing the new diaphragm its important to clean its seat with the help of throttle body cleaner and wipe it down with a piece of cloth. Now install the new diaphragm by holding and pulling then place it on the grove where it sits . Make sure the new diaphragm sits properly on its seat , if not then wiggle it to adjust. After that place back the plastic ring lock and then install it back to the carburetor.
