How to replace brake master cylinder piston kit of any motorcycle | master cylinder rebuild (pulsar)

In this video you will learn how to replace brake master cylinder piston kit on any motorcycle. If you have a motorcycle with a disc brake in front tire then it will have a master cylinder which controls the function of applying hydraulic brake .
You might need to change the piston kit in two conditions , first if the brake oil is leaking from the master cylinder near the brake lever push rod then that means the piston rubber o ring is damage. Second, if you press the brake lever and the brake won't apply even the reservoir if full with brake oil that means your brake is fail and in that case you need to replace the master cylinder piston kit .
First of all you need to clean the cap of reservoir if its dirty and then unscrew it and have some cloth on the petrol tank before removing the cap . Just remove the reservoir cap and its diaphragm and either empty the brake oil by bleeding it from bleed screw or by sucking it with syringe. Once the reservoir is empty open the banjo bolt and disconnect the brake line from master cylinder assembly.
Disconnect the wires from brake switch and then open the bolts holding the bracket of master cylinder assembly . After removing the master cylinder assembly from the motorcycle open the nut and bolt that holds the brake lever and then remove the boot cover and push rod to get access to the piston.
There is a circlip that holds the piston on its place , so you need to remove this circlip with the help of a circlip pliers and then hold the piston and pull it out . Now clean the area where piston works with a clean cloth or use brake cleaner . Brought a new replacement for master cylinder piston kit according to your motorcycle and assembly the spring and then apply the grease or brake oil on rubber parts( o rings) and then insert the piston back into its place and then insert the circle to hold the piston down.
After that simply place the rubber boot along with push rod and then assemble the brake lever . Do check by pressing the lever if everything if working fin. Now just install the master cylinder assembly back to the motorcycle and fill the reservoir with brake oil and remove the air from the brake lines.
