What should I do after my PhD? What are my options?

There are several potential paths after your PhD (for more detailed thoughts jump to the time stamp):

I give my thoughts on some hints and tips on each one and remind you that your PhD has equipped you with skills that you may be underestimating. Just because your supervisors tell you you should be an academic doesn't mean it will end up being a dream job REMEMBER if you want to do your Dream job then CREATE your dream job, no one will gift it to you!

Whilst making this video I soon realised that I had been blessed enough to have been involved in 5 out of 7 of these areas (Areas 1,2,3,5,7). Life can be fun if you take a few calculated risks! Do not limit yourself to one role always be on the search for a great challenge. Thats how you grow as a professional and as a human being.
