Stereo Bus Compression

Описание к видео Stereo Bus Compression

Stereo bus compression is often the culprit for mixes sounding over compressed, and it's oven overdone. Mixerman talked me through his technique for using stereo bus compression, and how to set it up in the DAW.

For this episode, we talk about the settings for the stereo bus compressor, and what to listen for when making changes. We talk about the attack times of the stereo bus compressor, and the release times too.

For compression over the stereo mix, I like to use a slower attack times, and faster release times to get a fuller sound and percieved loudness from the mix.
