This is the 14th annual 1989 Championship show featuring fifth seed Jeff Atkins of Springfield, MA who qualified with a 426, fourth seed Jim Kelly of Bridgewater, MA who qualified with a 432, third seed Det Klein of Marlboro, MA who qualified with a 433, second seed Steve Renaud of Southbridge, MA who qualified with a 437, and top seed Tom Olszta of Sturbridge, MA who qualified with a 444.
