There has been alot of ups and down as far as Electrohomeopathy is concerned, Various Court judgments and Even Supreme Court of India has fiven decesion in Favour of B.E.M.S or Electrohomeopathy practitioners.

Even Deputy health minister has also issued notification to allow them to practice in India.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare gave an order in 2003, after accepting the Recommendation of Standing Committee of Expert, which was formed to give decesion to formulate Recognition system for Electrohomeopathy, they denied and gave decesion against Electrohomeopathy.

After petition in Allahbad high court MOHFW published an order in 2010, stating that they can do research and Development in their field.

Ministry of health and family welfare also published notice in 2011, 2012 and 2017 respectively to support the research and Development in this field.

In 2017 MOHFW formed inter departmental Committee to give decesion on the proposal submitted by the representative of Electrohomeopathy. They found the data present by them was not upto the mark.

NEHM has been allowed to issue Diploma in Electrohomeopathy by various authorities viz. Department of Health, Government of Delhi.
