Electrostatic Shielding | Electrostatics of Conductor | Hindi

Описание к видео Electrostatic Shielding | Electrostatics of Conductor | Hindi

Why excess charge goes on surface of a conductor, Faraday's Cage, Electric field inside a conductor & Field inside a cavity.

We recreate Faraday’s ice pail experiment to explain that inside a conductor, electrostatic field is zero So, when excess charge is placed on an isolated conductor, charges redistribute themselves wherever they are needed to make the field inside the conductor ZERO.

So excess charges placed on a conductor always goes on the surface of the conductor.

We also see that at the surface of a charged conductor, electrostatic field must be normal to the surface at every point

In the end, we discuss electric field inside a Cavity and see how that can be used for electrostatic shielding and can be used like a Faraday’s Cage. We also see various cases of charge inside the cavity.
