Is the Nesco Pressure Canner Safe? | Carey and Nesco Canner Concerns

Are the Nesco and Carey pressure canners safe? That's the question that I answer in this video. There are many concerns about Carey and Nesco canners. Among others, the Utah State Extension has conducted a study and found the canners to be unsafe. The National Center for Home Food Preservation also has concerns about electric pressure canners such as the Carey Smart Canner and Nesco pressure canner. In this video I look at the various concerns regarding smart canners, and the conclusion I came to regarding the safety of electric pressure canners.
