Pete Nance is READY | Cavaliers 6'10 Two-Way DOMINATED The NBA G League | 2023-24 Rookie Highlights

After averaging 7.2 PPG and shooting 42.9% 3FG with the 2023 NBA Summer League Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, undrafted forward Pete Nance grabbed the attention of the Cavs front office, and throughout the Northwestern legend's rookie year in the NBA; he kept it. Nance has signed an Exhibit-10 contract, a 10-day contract, and, most recently, a two-way contract with the organization; all prior to the conclusion of his NBA G League rookie season. With the Cavaliers looking to make a push in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, don't be surprised if the skilled big man finds his way on the court in some big time moments.

On January 10th, 2024, Nance notched the first triple double for a Charge player in over two years, providing 27 points 12 assists and 10 rebounds on 9-of-15 shooting to lead a short-handed team over the Indiana Pacers G League affiliate, The Mad Ants.

Pete Nance is a gifted athlete & overwhelming lob threat with a high basketball IQ on both sides of the floor. Nance's basketball savvy and mobility allows him to challenge guards and wing players on switches, come up with a lot of blocked shots around the rim, and win a lot of one-on-one defensive battles.

The most dangerous aspect of Nance's game is his ability to stretch the floor. Nance made 2 or more threes in 17 of his 26 games with the Cleveland Charge this season, including two games with 4 from downtown and two more in which he knocked down 5 triples. He has an old-school running sky hook and surreal touch around the basket, and understands that his role as a scoring threat opens up opportunities to make plays for his teammates. Nance's playmaking ability alongside his shot from the outside, finishing ability, defensive impact and game-to-game consistency will be the reasons for his lengthy NBA career.

Pete is the son of former NBA Legend Larry Nance and brother of current New Orleans Pelicans' Forward, Larry Nance Jr. However, I think they would all agree that Pete is the most skilled player of the three.
