House Hollard | History Of The Crownlands | Game Of Thrones | House Of The Dragon History Lore

House Hollard have been an important part of the crownlands since it's before during Aegon's Conquest and the coming of house Targaryen, back in the days of the age of heroes where they would be loyal supporters of the kings of house darklyn. Even after the conquest they followed House Darklyn's lead supporting the likes of Rhaenyra Targaryen during the dance of the dragons. They would inadvertently bring about the Baratheon Era of Westeros with the downfall of House Targaryen by taking park in the defence of Duskendale and the kidnap of the man king Aerys ii Targaryen. By the time of the main books only Dontos Hollard remains and he plays a key role in the storyline of Sansa Stark.

The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022.
