With the release date of UFO's demo approaching quickly (March 8th, 2009), I decided to get one last video in before then. Orin wasn't cooperating (alternatively, Catwalk is the worst thing ever), so I decided to do Stage 5 of PCB instead. It's amazing how much more relaxed Youmu's stage is when compared to Orin's.

The stage is pretty straightforward. Most of it revolves around memorization of spawn points, but the first section with all the bullet spam can be a bit tricky.

Youmu isn't as hard as I remember. I used to have a fair amount of trouble with Hell God Sword, but it turns out it isn't that bad at all. Yeah, it's still a bit luck based (whether or not the gaps between the bubbles are completely filled with crap), but for the most part, each wave is manageable. If anything, I've come to find her midboss card more annoying for whatever reason.

Youmu's second boss card, the trash compactor one, is still pretty stupid. Getting walled in is surprisingly common, and the only way out when this happens tends to involve hitbox prayer.

Youmu's final card is pretty damn fun. When the bullets spawn low enough, you can pretty much stay at the bottom and find a safe spot. If the bullets start high, you may want to go up and try to navigate through them during the slow down.

In this run, my performance against the final card is... interesting, to say the least. Many of the dodges consist of a cruel mixture between nervousness and crazed adrenaline.
