UP G scale Train pulling 38 Coal Cars on Layout

Union Pacific G scale Train with 38 Coal Cars on Layout By Ted Doskaris
A Union Pacific 1/29 "G" scale coal train with 4 Aristo-Craft GE CW44-9 locos is shown pulling 38 hopper cars on the layout. Cars consist of 6 American Main Line (AML) coal porters and 32 Aristo-Craft 100 ton hopper cars. The entire train is equipped with body mounted Kadee centerset "G" AAR E type couplers. The locos are equipped with Datum Precision CNC machined aluminum black anodized coupler boxes. Some of the cars are equipped with 3-D printed "CamPac" coupler boxes fitted with Kadee centerset couplers from the 907 kit whilst remaining cars have body mounted Kadee 906 couplers.
