In today’s video I go over my thoughts on selling Low-end sports cards using live-selling platforms and applications such as whatnot, loupe, drip, and fanatics live. I think for me I will never actually stop selling these low end sports cards for vast amounts of reasons and I hope that I will always be able to continue to do these live streams and offload a ton of value cards to those who are looking for them during my Wednesday streams at 6 P.M. PST. I’m not particularly handcuffed to one selling platform as I’ve never actually had or been offered any form of sponsorship by anyone or any company, so for me if I was to be offered a significant deal with a company that believed in me and what I can offer and bring to their platform, I wouldn’t shy away from it completely. It would have to be a rather good deal for both sides and I’d have to believe in the actual product and business model it is that the company seems to be promoting. The biggest thing for me is to actually do rapid fire sudden death / win auctions and to keep stuff moving! My favorite part of 5 second sudden death and win auctions would be the fact that by the time I could’ve actually found and spotted an adequate listing to actually even attempt to try to sell a card, that card is already sold and I’m onto the next one. It’s truly an amazing thing that I think will actually shape the future of selling and buying for those who partake in sports cards in particular especially given the fact that sports cards take up a lot less space in comparison to certain other products someone might sell online, you can have 100s of thousands of cards in a space where you might only be able to put away hundreds or so of items that are in relatively the same value. It’s truly a spectacular thing we partake in this hobby and I absolutely love the future of selling on these live selling platforms and I think the next years in the future will be the most impactful for those in the space. It’s best to get in and started early on instead of when it’s already too late. Finding your niche and making sure to execute and actually fulfill your obligations to your customers you preach and live by.
