Banned Lure “Too Productive”?!?

This is yet another fly pattern that was so productive it was actually banned from use in some competitive angling. This fly, in particular, is called The Zulu or the Black Zulu, a hot spotted wet fly that is notoriously used for sea trout; however, it works on a larger variety of species. Fish it on its own, in a nymph or wet fly rig, or tie it as a trailer to a streamer. Either way, this is a great wet fly to add to your fly box. If you have never used wet flies before, this is not only an easy one to tie up but also a great choice to tie on no matter where you are fishing!
