We started our journey from Delhi to Sissu on 15th April,2022 in which we took an overnight stop at Sundernagar and stayed at Mid Town Residency whose tariff was Rs. 900/- for a non ac room. The stay was satisfactory as nothing else was available online at the last moment.
Next morning we completed our journey to Sissu via Atal Tunnel which was a good experience. We had booked our stay at a newly built property in Sissu named Lahault. It is a 4 star property and the tariff was 5,000/- including breakfast.
We went by the Sissu lake side in the evening and ate some evening snacks at the helipad. You will find 3-4 fodd trucks there.
The next morning we headed to the Sissu waterfall and had fun time in the snow. As the way upto the waterfall was covered with snow, it was not possilbe for us to go near it.
Then we headed to a Monastery which is commonly known as Sissu Monastery , the road leading upto it was not in a good condition so be careful. One can get a good view of the valley from the Monastery. Its a good vantage point.
After that we returned back to Delhi and before leaving Manali we took few minutes to go near the Beas river and soaked our feet in it.
We would advice you to do this trip with at least 4 days in hand including the days of journey.
