Styled Shoots by Southern Bride - Napa Valley, California (2024)

The 2-day event in Napa Valley was a testament to our designers' incredible creativity and hard work. The photographers were treated to four stunning venues and designs, and the Styled SHOOTS team and photographers were constantly in awe of the captivating scenes the design teams put together for us.

"AMAZING," "AMAZING," simply, "AMAZING"

The OVERALL BEST DESIGN AWARD went to the Beringer Vineyards, designed by Kendall Erlenbusch of Kendall Melissa Events. Congratulations to Hylary Locsin + Jacquie Loakes of H and J Flowers for BEST FLORAL DESIGN, and Munni Tran of Hyegraph Invitations & Calligraphy, for BEST STATIONERY. Additional team members include Danielle Luce of Standard Event Rentals, the wedding cake was designed by Baker and a Black Cat, the wedding cake bar signage was Caroline Sailor of The Parched Poppies, the wedding gown from Ashley Baumgartner at Ellis + Blake, and the designer was Allure. Finally, the linens were provided by JoAnna Weaver at BBJ La Tavola Linen. Hair and make-up was provided by Taylor Klevins Contour Bridal.
BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD went to Ashley Piper Photography

The TRENDSETTER AWARD went to the Bardessono Hotel design team, which was led by Gianna Jackson with West Event Co.; floral designs and rentals by Christina Arcila with Floral Luxe; and stationery by Haley Roberts of Wild Horse Design. Taylor Klevins of Contour Bridal provided hair and makeup.
BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD went to Michelle Keanaugh Photography

The SOUTHERN SOCIALITE AWARD went to the V. Sattui design team, led by Lisa McAdams with Lisa McAdams Events for the popular vote during The Styled Challenge Facebook LIVE event. The incredible pastel florals were by Cecelia Carsillo of Blümhaus Floral Co. The wedding cake was by Ora Beth Mika of Flour & Bloom Cakes who won the BEST WEDDING CAKE DESIGN; rentals were provided by Becca Pechbrenner of Bright Event Rentals, catering by Kimmie Husted of Tre Posti, bridal accessories by Samantha Pendleton of Lovesick Rebel, linens by Ruben Apodaca of Napa Valley Linens, and signage was provided by Lacey McDaniel of Miss Dee Designs. The BEST FLATLAY DESIGN went to Sheryl Chan of Blushtype & Co.
Hair and make-up for models was provided by Rachel Lusk Rachel Lusk Hair and Makeup
BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD went to Happy Out Photography

The LASTING IMPRESSION AWARD went to the CIA/Greystone design team, led by Brittany Anderson of L'Avventura Events. Melody Mahoney of Melody Raye Flowers created the florals. Kendall Burger of Encore Events Rentals provided rentals. Ashley Taylor Napa Note created the stationery. BlushType provided bar signage, and Twilight Design supplied lighting. Jocelyn Locy of Bella Bridal Hair & Makeup provided the models' hair and makeup.
BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD went to Kayla Bri Photography.

All professional vendors in the wedding industry should be applauded for how hard they work to create the most memorable wedding for each of their couples, every single time, over and over. A wedding involves so many emotions for the couples and their families and also for these professionals. The level of care is astronomical—much more than brides ever know about.
The Styled Challenge is a fun and engaging event where these professionals come together and have the opportunity to share their love of design and creation.
