Hey guys, Mac Guzman here. This video is how to earn Tenderfoot Rank in Scouts BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts) It is the second rank out of the seven ranks in Scouting.

This video covers how to rank up fast. The Tenderfoot rank is the beginning of basic scout skills that provide a glance into the types of skills to learn. A Scout's career takes a turn as he or she learns responsibility, independence, and planning. Learning new skills is always a fun challenge, and understanding what is expected of you is a key part in your scouting career.

Tips for earning the rank
Use the Scout Handbook to your advantage. Utilize it to learn new skills and to understand new material
Don't isolate yourself, work with others and have fun when accomplishing objectives
Get used to planning events and keeping a calender
Keep your logs updated and accurate
Use a binder/folder to organize everything
Stay consistent in your troop and be active in working on requirements

Scout Mission: "The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law."
