Repairing the BOSE radio in a 1998 Pathfinder. This unit had the common 'CD Err' issue as well as an intermittent display.

Unfortunately this is a different style head unit and that page wasn't applicable. The intermittent display ended up being bad solder joints on the backside of the display, and the 'CD Err' repair involved replacing the CD drive with a new one.

I pulled the replacement CD drive out of a 2000 I30 radio, same exact part. From the few BOSE badged Clarion radios I found in the junkyard, all of the CD drives appeared to be identical.
