줄거리 : 중림의 번화가에 위치한 중림식당, 이곳에서 일하는 홍령과 그녀의 친구 정천과 명락. 어느날 이들앞에 수준높은 무도를 지닌 령령이 등장하면서 이야기는 시작한다. 식당에서 흑염단의 패거리들이 행패를 부리자 령령은 높은 무공으로 이들을 제압하고는 사라진다. 그런데 잠시후 홍령의 부친이 강가에서 살해당하는 사건이 일어난다. 령령은 오래전 자신을 구해준 붉은매를 찾기위해 중원을 떠돌고 있는 중이다. 그녀는 홍령부친의 죽음이 흑염단과 관련이 있을거라고 알려주고 같이 복수의 길을 떠난다. 그러나 호숫가에 머물던 그들은 흑염단의 사영일당과 만나게되고 위기에 처하자 붉은매가 나타나 구해주고 다시 사라진다. 한편 령령은 정천의 몸에 난 상처를 보고 혹시 정천이 붉은매가 아닐까하고 의구심을 품는데......

Synopsis : The martial arts warrior Ryung-Ryung appears before three friends Hong-ryung, Jung-cheon and Myung-rak who work at Joong-rim Restaurant located in the heart of Joong-rim City. When a bunch of the Heuk-Yum men make trouble in the restaurant, Ryung-Ryung overcomes them with superior martial arts skills and then disappears. Later, Hong-ryung hears the news of his father's death by the river. Ryung-Ryung is searching for the Red Falcon who saved his life years ago. She tells Hong-ryung that the Heuk-Yum group had something to do with her father's death and then leaves. They are saved just in the nick of time by the Red Falcon when they are attacked by the Heuk-Yum by the lake. Meanwhile, Ryung-Ryung suspects that Jung-cheon may be the Red Falcon when she finds scars on his body.
