जसरी परमेश्‍वले येशू खीष्टमा उहाँको विरुद्ध हामीले गरेका हरेक पापको निम्ति हामीलाई क्षमा गर्नुभयो त्यसरी नै हामीले पनि आफूलाई चोट पुर्‍याउने हरेकलाई क्षमा गर्नुपर्छ। जब हामीलाई चोट पुर्‍याउने, हाम्रो खेदो गर्ने र हाम्रो कुभलो चिताउने मानिसलाई क्षमा नदिने निर्णय गर्‍छौँ, तब शैतानको युक्तिहरुमा हामी फस्छौँ । किनभने हामीले अरुलाई क्षमा नगर्दा शैतानले हाम्रो जीवनमा आशिषलाई रोक्ने र हामीलाई फलवन्त हुन नदिने मौका पाउँछ । क्षमा दिने कुरामा हामीले ढिला गर्नुहुँदैन, किनकि भरे के हुन्छ हामी जान्दैनौं । अक्षमाशील हुँदा त्यसको हानी चोट पुर्‍याउने व्यक्तिलाई भन्दा बढ्ता आफैलाई नै हुन्छ । जब हामी आफूलाई चोट पुर्‍याउने व्यक्तिलाई लामो समयसम्म क्षमा गर्दैनौँ, तब हाम्रो हृदय परमेश्वर प्रति कठोर बन्दै जान्छ । हामीलाई खेदो गर्ने मानिसलाई हृदयबाट नै क्षमा दिन सजिलो भने छैन तर पवित्र आत्माको सहायताद्वारा हामी यो गर्न सक्छौ । परमेश्‍वरको वचन सुन्‍नबाट शैतानले हामीलाई रोक्न त सक्दैन होला, तर उसले हाम्रो हृदयलाई दूषित बनाएर हामीले सुनेको त्यस वचनको प्रभावलाई हाम्रो जीवनमा रोक्न भने सक्छ। यसकारण हामीले हाम्रो जिवनलाई वचनको प्रकाशमा निरन्तर दाँजिरहनुपर्छ, र अरुलाई क्षमा दिन अन्कनाउनु हुँदैन ।
Just as God has forgiven us for every sin we have committed against Him in Jesus Christ, so we must forgive anyone who hurts us. When we choose not to forgive those who hurt, persecute, and desire evil for us, we fall prey to the devil's schemes. Because, when we do not forgive others, satan has the opportunity to obstruct the blessings in our lives and prevent us from being fruitful. We should not delay in forgiving others, because we don't know what will happen in the near future. When we are unforgiving, it hinders us more than the person hurting us. When we do not forgive those who hurt us for a long time, our hearts become hardened toward God. It is not easy to forgive the person who persecutes us from our hearts, but we can do it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Satan may not be able to stop us from hearing the word of God, but he can contaminate our hearts and stop the effect of the word we hear in our lives. That is why we should constantly walk our lives in the light of the Word, and not be hesitant to forgive others.
