जब परमेश्वर बोल्नुहुन्न! When God does not speak! Pastor Binay Bhandari

धेरै पटक हामीले आफ्नो परिस्थितिमाथि परमेश्वरको आवाज सुन्न कठिन हुन्छ। उहाँ कहिलेकाहीँ मौन पनि रहनुहुन्छ। हामीले प्रार्थना त गर्छौँ, तर हामीले अपेक्षा गरेको प्रतिउत्तर प्राप्त गर्दैनौँ। अनि हामी आफ्नो विश्वासमा कठोर चुनौतीको अनुभव गर्छौँ। तर यस्तै अवस्थाहरुमा ठिक तरिकाले सम्हालिन हामीले सिक्नुपर्ने हुन्छ। यस विषयमा हामीलाई ठिकसँग सिकाउने बाइबलमा एउटा राम्रो घटना छ। जब एउटा कनानी स्त्री प्रभु येशूकहाँ आएर उनकी छोरीलाई निको पारिदिन बिन्ती गरिन्, उनको विश्वासलाई जाँच गर्न उहाँ मौन रहनुभयो। यद्धपी, ती स्त्रीले प्रभु येशूको अगाडि निहुरिएर उहाँलाई आराधना गर्दै बिन्ती गर्न छोडिनन्। परमेश्वरको आवाज सुनेनौँ भनेर हामी पनि चुप लागेर बस्नु हुँदैन। बरु हाम्रो प्रार्थनाको उत्तर आएपनि, नआएपनि उहाँलाई आराधना गर्न, प्रार्थना गर्न रोकिनुहुन्न।
So many times, it becomes difficult for us to hear the voice of God over our situation. Sometimes God remains silent. We pray but we do not receive the answers we expect. And we feel our faith being challenged to the extreme. We have to learn to deal with such situations. There is a very good story in the Bible that provides us a good guidance for such situation. When a Canaanite woman came to Jesus and prayed to him for healing her daughter, Jesus remained silent to test her faith. But the woman kept on worshiping and praying to him until he answered her request. We should not remain silent even when we do not hear the voice of God. Instead, we need to keep worshiping and praying to Him whether we get our requests answered or not.
