Larry Gifford was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's disease three years ago, at just 45 years old. Despite a busy career in media and bustling family life, Larry decided not to shy away from his diagnosis. Instead, he chose to publicly announce his Parkinson's on social media, and begin his Parkinson's journey as a strong advocate, and an inspiration to others. With the support of his wife, Rebecca, and supportive colleagues, Larry started a podcast called When Life Gives You Parkinson's, chronicling his life with the disease, and shedding light on the challenges faced by the Parkinson's community. Larry and Rebecca have grown to become invaluable advocates and supporters for Parkinson's causes and organizations across Canada.
