Chislehurst Caves are a series of intersecting man-made tunnels and caverns covering some 22 miles in Chislehurst in southeast London, England. From the mid-13th to early 19th centuries the 'caves' were created from the mining of flint and lime-burning chalk.

Throughout the years, Chislehurst Caves have been used for many different things, including ammunition storage, mushroom growing, concert venue, and during the Blitz, it became an underground city accommodating up to 15,000 inhabitants each night - A child was even born in the caves during this time!

The Caves are said to be very haunted too, which is no surprise considering its age.
