Tina tries to convince Cord to go back to living at Llanfair or Asa’s house rather than taking the apartment across the hall. Megan is uncomfortable during the filming of one of her and Hunter’s first scenes. After a long pep talk, Hunter convinces Megan to shoot the love scene. Carlo tells Gabrielle to find Tina’s car and figure out if it was in an accident. He says his men have searched and cannot find it. He thinks Tina was the one who hit Renee. Gabrielle refuses to help, but Carlo reminds her he has the audiotape from the night Niki Smith shot Johnny Dee. Gabrielle reminds him she paid a very expensive expert to erase her voice from the tape, but Carlo paid that expert even more to doublecross her and now possesses a copy of the original with Gabrielle’s voice still on it. Nat stops by to see Bo to berate him for not stopping Alex’s search and for trying to locate him. Bo says he didn’t have a choice because he needed to talk to him. Bo tells Nat he found files in Carlo Hesser’s safe mentioning Shadow Man and pointing him towards New York; he wants to know if Nat is somehow working for Carlo Hesser. Nat says Carlo is one of the people he’d been running from–he also explains that the drug he was working on formulating when he went on the run was the same one Michael Grande used to try and control Brenda. Nat is in the middle of explaining how saddened he was to hear of his discovery being put to such awful use when there is a knock on the door and Nat runs into the bedroom to hide. Bo opens the door to find Alex there with some paperwork from Asa. They talk about her quest to find her father, and she becomes emotional at the thought of never seeing him again. Nat hears the entire exchange from the next room. Cord makes Tina and CJ pancakes for breakfast, but their meal is interrupted by Gabrielle. Gabrielle says her car is in the shop and asks to borrow Tina’s. Tina says normally she’d have no problem with it, but unfortunately her car is in the shop as well. Cord is surprised to hear that, since he just took her car in for service a couple weeks ago. Gabrielle notes how cagey Tina becomes when talking about the car and the mechanic. Jake stops in to see Carlo and says he’s concerned about Charlotte who doesn’t seem to be taking well to the clinic. Jake suggests he could go there to check in on her, but Carlo convinces Jake to give it some time. When Carlo steps out of the room to get changed, Jake spots a message on his fax machine from Chad. As Megan and Hunter are starting their third take of the love scene, Carlo arrives in the producer’s booth to see Chad. Meanwhile, Jake shows up on set looking for Chad and sees Megan and Hunter in bed, kissing. From Chad’s office, Carlo sees Jake watching, but when Chad says he’ll have Jake removed, Carlo says to let him stay. Carlo tells Chad they need to reshoot the love scenes but with Megan in the nude. Chad objects that Carlo is trying to ruin his film, but Carlo threatens to pull his funding, and Chad relents. After Alex leaves, Bo tells Nat to go after her and talk to her. But Nat says with Carlo after him it’s too risky; he needs to disappear again or he may never get to see his daughter again. Gabrielle reports back to Carlo about Tina’s missing car. Hunter is irate that Chad wants to reshoot the scenes. Hunter reminds Chad that he wrote the script and has final cut. Chad says he isn’t going back on their deal, but he knows what the market wants. Hunter leaves the decision up to Megan, and Megan agrees to the changes. They begin reshooting the scene right away, and this time when Megan removes her robe, she takes her nightie off after it. Jake, watching from nearby, seethes.
