Recipe



Chicken Curry Recipe:

Ingredients:

500g chicken (bone-in or boneless)
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies (optional)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish
Water as needed


Instructions:

1. Heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

3. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

4. Add the pureed tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil starts to separate.

5. Add turmeric, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.

6. Add the chicken pieces and stir to coat them with the masala. Cook until the chicken changes color.

7. Pour in water (about 1 cup) and cover the pan. Let it simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

8. Stir in garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes.

9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and green chilies (optional).


White Rice Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice

2 cups water

Salt to taste

1 tsp oil (optional)


Instructions:

1. Rinse the basmati rice in cold water until the water runs clear.

2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add salt and oil.

3. Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water.

4. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Let the rice simmer for 12-15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
