While Stop #1 of the World Surf League's Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast was on hold, the invitees to 2019's first stop in the Red Bull Airborne Series took serious flight from the ramps of Duranbah Beach. Red Bull Airborne France's champ, Yago Dora picked up where he left off in 2018, boosting big spins up and down the beach. But nobody could stop Italo Ferreira and his high speed, inverted, full rotations. Clearly, Italo was in form, because a couple days later, he'd go on to win the Quik Pro. Next stop for Red Bull Airborne is Keramas, Bali, between May 13-19, when the World Tour rolls into town.
