Paulo Joquino, or Pau, is a scholar and an incoming junior in the Ateneo de Manila University taking up BS Management Engineering. A Pisay graduate and Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardee, Paulo is passionate about creating a culture of science in the Philippines, and with his Pisay batchmates, co-founded Integrating Science in the Philippines or ISIP in 2014. ISIP develops experiential learning programs and produces online content that promote science, communication, and critical thinking among Filipino students. Pau shares is own experience with science, and argues that it is all about creating a culture of curiosity and asking the right questions. Through informal learning, chikahan and science diplomacy, Pau aims to change the stigma of science in the country.
