Leo与在垦丁的朋友说再见，踏上前往台东的行程。 订错旅馆的Leo行走在雨中， 初次感受台湾公共交通的不便利。恰逢台东国际铁人三项赛事，与运动员们在旅馆畅聊。 米苔目大概是台湾知名的食物，这对于来自中国大陆的Leo完全是个从来没试过的新食物，他觉得米苔目怎么样呢？听旅馆老板说台东知本有个寺庙经营的温泉，名为忠义堂，Leo决定试试，又被计程车司机提起的惊悚往事劝退。卖槟榔的卑南大妈诉说着卖槟榔的趣事，与Leo讨论中国大陆和台湾槟榔的不同。晚上回到旅馆碰到台湾年轻涂鸦艺术家，畅聊到深夜，谈谈他去中国大陆的见闻以及中国大陆与台湾的异同！

Leo said goodbye to his friend in Kenting and headed to Taitung. He mistakenly booked the wrong hotel and had to walk in the rain, experiencing the hassle of Taiwan's public transportation for the first time. At the hotel, he met athletes participating in the Taitung International Triathlon and had a chat with them.

Leo tried "taimu" rice noodles, a famous Taiwanese dish he had never tasted before, coming from mainland China. He decided to check out a hot spring called Zhongyi Tang, managed by a temple in Zhiben, despite being warned by the taxi driver about its spooky history.

He also talked with a grandma from the Peinan tribe who sells betel nuts, discussing the differences between mainland Chinese and Taiwanese betel nuts. Later that night, Leo met a young graffiti artist from Taiwan at the hotel, and they stayed up late discussing his experiences in mainland China and the differences between mainland China and Taiwan!
