Equilibrium Constant Expression (20 Min) - "K" temporary equilibrium, Keq

Описание к видео Equilibrium Constant Expression (20 Min) - "K" temporary equilibrium, Keq

Previously we looked at how as time passed and the forward reaction rate decreased, the reverse reaction rate increased. After that, they would equalize where the slopes become zero. Now, we will derive the equilibrium constant (the ratio between the concentration of products versus reactants). The video explains how we derived "K" the temporary equilibrium constant and how it becomes "Keq" the actual equilibrium constant after the pure substances cancel out, leaving us with only gaseous or aqueous state compounds. It is also important to note that equilibrium requires both the concentration of products and reactants whereas rate law only deals with the concentration of reactants.
