Fabric Book from Scraps | Just Because Book

Another Fabric Book is done and this one comes with a challenge. This is Just Because Book number 3. It measures about 4" x 6" and has 10 pages packed full of texture and color. Working on this little wonky books is the very best way for me to settle my ping pong brain that is often bouncing all over the place. I gather up fabrics and fibers and all those scraps that pile up while I am working and just let myself play. No rules. It doesn't have to have pages to write on or tags or pockets or anything your might expect in a journal. And that freedom to just be 100% me is so empowering and so much fun!

I would love to challenge YOU to create a Just Because Book. Grab some fabric scraps. Paint them. Stitch them. Tear them up and sew them back together again. Add some paper if you want. It doesn't matter because there are no rules. Make a little book full of texture and color Just Because everything in it makes you happy. Because that's what art is all about.
