Reader request here I'd been meaning to get to. There's lots of ways to make sauerkraut, but a good, old-fashioned sauerkraut crock never goes out of style. I walk you through the basics and a little troubleshooting.

The most important thing for me is the salt content. If you weigh the cabbage in grams, then multiply the weight by .02 you'll never go wrong. Don't pay attention to recipes that use teaspoons or imperial measurements as they're imprecise.
