The dreaded on the forehand. We know it’s not good for our horses to live there, but they all still go there on occasion - some more than others!

This week, JJ and Benson show us how the rider’s position and energy can really influence the horse, and how we can help the horse off the forehand by riding with our bodies and intention (not our hands!), creating the situation where we “open the jack in the box” so the horse can pop out over his withers and happily take us forward, propelled by his hind legs and light on his front.
