Winter stroll through Zurich's old town (Altstadt) - Augustinergasse to Rennweg | December 2023【4K】

Join me on a wintery Sunday morning #ASMR #stroll through Zürich's beautiful Altstadt (old town), from the junction of Bahnhofstrasse and Augustinergasse to Rennweg.

We start our stroll on Bahnhofstrasse at the end of Augustinergasse.

We start strolling along the narrow Augustinergasse, until we reach Munzplatz with the Christkatholische Augustinerkirche in front of us and one of the many Christmas trees that fill Zürich at this time of year to our right.

Turning left, we stroll along Widdergasse until we reach the junction with Rennweg and Strehlgasse, where we turn right and stroll along Strehlgasse as the narrow street with its many designer boutiques leads us through the old town to Weinplatz, with the historic Storchen hotel in front of us.

Turning right, we stroll along Storchengasse until we reach Münsterhof with Kirche Fraumünster in front of us and the stalls of the Christmas market filling the square.

Turning left to leave Münsterhof, we turn left again onto the riverside footpath Wühre that runs along this bank of the Limmat river. Strolling along Wühre, we can see the historic buildings of the other part of Zürich's old town on the other side of the river.

Eventually, we find ourselves back at Weinplatz, which we cross. Hidden inbetween the historic buildings we enter the narrow Weggengasse passageway and stroll along it and up the steps at its end, emerging in the tranquil St. Peterhofstat square.

Crossing the square, we leave it via Augustinergasse and then turn right to cross through Glockengasse, before emerging back at the junction of Widdergasse, Renwegg and Strehlgasse.

We stroll along Rennweg until we reach the juntion with Bahnhofstrasse, where we finish our stroll looking back along Rennweg with the clock tower of the church of St. Peter.
