The small village of Trawsfynydd in Snowdonia, North Wales once boasted three railway stations on the Bala to Ffestiniog Railway.

Trawsfynydd Station was open between 1882 and 1960, Trawsfynydd Camp Station, just for military use was open between 1911 and 1960, and Trawsfynydd Lake Halt was open from 1934 to 1960 to encourage tourists to the lake. The line closed in 1961.

The line north of Trawsfynydd Lake Halt was reopened in 1964 to service a new nuclear Flask Depot for Trawsfynydd Power Station which lasted until 1998.

There are plenty of relics to see, abandoned platforms, gas lamps, railway fencing, buffer stops and overgrown tracks.
