Green ELEPHANT HAWK MOTH CATERPILLAR in Pond Eating LILY PADS!!! with Leon Hills - LEON CREATOR

I had no idea Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillars ate LILY PADS & was shocked to find the bright GREEN form right in the centre of my pond!!! I have since done a bit of research & found that they often eat a pond plant called BOG BEAN. I couldn't see any Bog Bean in my pond though & this caterpillar was clearly just munching my Pond Lily. Let me know in the comments if you have found any Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillars eating yours - I would be fascinated to hear of other instances of this. In another recent video to this one, I reared LOTS of Privet Hawk Moth Caterpillars to Pupa stage - at full size they were getting through a bin-bag full of Privet every day!!!
