This video is about Journey from Pune to Akkalkot by chartered mini bus.

This Akkalkot vari consisted of 5 buses and about 100 people proceeded for darshan of Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj.

Akkalkot has narrow streets so difficult to drive large buses.

Bus was to arrive at 5:30am at Nanded City Pune but driver changed and came at 6:30am.

We halted at 10am for breakfast at restaurant at Yavat, Pune consisted of 2 idli's , Mendu vada, Sambar, Chutney, Tea and Coffee.

Lunch break was at Walsang wada restaurant few kms before Akkalkot at 1pm.

It was a wari so before every one had lunch there was nevedya offered to the paduka of Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj by soundankar kaka which few devotees carried with themselves.

At 1:30am we went to retire to our rooms to reassemble at 4:30pm for exploring Akkalkot.

I decided to travel to Akkalkot with the Pune Akkalkot Pune Seva Yatra.
The Akkalkot Wari was from 11-12 Sept 2022.

Its coordinated with no profit - no loss basis by Shri Shrikant Soundankar kaka. All money extra remaining is donated to temples or programmes associated with the organization.

I joined the Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj Akkalkot wari because I have never been with them before though my wife, my daughter, my mother in law have been with them multiple times.

I have driven to Akkalkot countless times by car but I never went in an organized tour, I wanted to meet people who have knowledge and not just sight seeing and reciting jap at the temples.

Soundankar kaka is like a family elder to us. So wanted to do something for him. What better than cover the wari. While I am editing these videos for you, his videos specific to wari have been edited and will be published on his channel launch very soon.

I met many interesting people in the trip. We met for the 1st time, they were friendly and heart warming as if they knew me for a long time.
