Thank you for stopping by to watch our GMC Denali Terrain SUV fender replacement video. The fender for this Denali Terrain is very similar to the regular Terrain. There should not be too much deviation in the replacement process. If anything, the Denali may have extra bolts and covers the regular Terrain won't' have. We are an online painted parts company and we replaced this customer's fender with one of our very own, guaranteed to match & fit parts. No blending was needed and she only dropped her car off for a few hours so we could do the install. Check out the links above if you are interested in replacing any car part for your GMC Terrain. We hope you learn a lot from this video and at the very least, save some money on the installation costs.

TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a socket wrench with a size T20 Torx bit and size 10mm & 7mm sockets. You will also need a panel clip removal too or a flat-head screwdriver to remove the plastic clips.

PROCESS:
You may think you have to remove the headlight for this fender replacement, but you do not. We started by removing the fender liner from the fender. You have to use a Torx bit screw for the bumper side and a panel clip removal tool for the door side. We recommend just moving the tire to get better access or space to remove these clips. You could take off the tire but that just seems like unnecessary work. Now that the fender liner is off, you can pop the bottom corner of the bumper out. This is important because there are 2 bolts that are holding the fender on the frame located on the fender bracket. You do not have to remove the bumper or headlight at all. So far so, good, nothing has been too difficult and this is as hard as it will get. You do have to remove the top bolt for the headlight that also sits on the fender. There will always be at least 1-2 bolts securing the bottom fender. In this case, there are two and you have to pop off the cover. It can be tricky but trust us, it just snaps off. Now you can move to the bolt accessible through the door and the bolts near the windshield cowl. We're in the home stretch now. All that is left is the top bolts on the apron or engine bay. There is a plastic cover but that is easily removed. Now you can take off the fender but be sure to pop off the headlight bracket from the fender. Now that the fender is off, you can transfer the small clips and foam pieces to the fender for the installation process. Installing this fender should be super easy, seeing how you just removed it. Make sure that you align everything accordingly and adjust the door and hood spacing as needed.
