IC&E 6214 East, an Ultra-Wide View on 2-9-2014

With an engine smoking heavily, a four EMD lashup runs past the snow drifts on the Canadian Pacific's Chicago subdivision.

This snowy scene will soon be a memory when the snow melts and the matted down, dead weeds emerge. So I had to get at least one more shot of the fresh snow. Set up the GoPro down low among the drifts.

I will probably produce more of these "ultra-wide" view videos in addition to my three camera videos since I now have two identical GoPro cameras. Using them to shoot from locations and situations where the three normal HD cameras don't make sense. For instance in confined shooting areas or where the cameras have a good chance of being hit by debris. Or if a hike to an interesting location would be a chore with three full sized cameras on tripods.

I'm interested in your opinions and suggestions.
