Chicago's ALCO - Switching with a 1949 Ex-L&N S1

Only a mile away from the infamous Conrail SW8 that I filmed in October of 2022 was this even more rare ALCO S1 that resided at Interstate Steel Processing on the south side of Chicago. These videos were shot way back on October 18th, 2021 and I believe the unit is no longer in service. The locomotive was originally built in 1949 as Louisville & Nashville S1 #59 and eventually found its way into the Relco (Railway Equipment Leasing) fleet. There's very little information about this unit that I could find online besides for its L&N and Relco backgrounds. This could very well be the only video of this ALCO out there!
