Pop Punk EZX - "Busy" Customized Preset - Superior Drummer 3

This video features an improvised performance using the "Busy" preset from the Pop Punk EZX library along with a customized mix/configuration within Superior Drummer 3. I started with the Busy preset and changed out the toms and hi-hat selections. I also made a few mix adjustments, used some of the sound shaping tools in Superior Drummer 3 (Velocity Curve, Smoothing and Envelope), added the transient effect to the Tom Bus to add more attack and the Limiter Pedal effect to the main output to boost the overall volume.

Everything you hear in this mix is using the built in effects and routing within the Superior Drummer 3 mixer and alternate drum selections from the Pop Punk EZX library.

The performance MIDI was recorded and mixed within Superior Drummer 3. The MIDI itself was recorded directly into Superior Drummer 3 using a Roland TD-30 drum module and Jobeky electronic drums and cymbals.

I also use the Porter & Davies tactile monitoring system. The Porter & Davies BC Gigster is used for the DrumAngle studio configuration and the Porter & Davies BC2 is used for live performance and practice setups.
